What We Do Best
We are here to assist
Through our years in practice we have appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Ontario on matters from Bail hearings to Jury trials to Appeals.
From the start of your involvement with the criminal justice system we are able to provide you with information about your rights and the process of navigating your matter. It is only after learning your rights and options that you are able to properly instruct counsel.
When the police call
It is vitally important that you are aware of your rights, particularly your right to silence when the police call you for an interview. The police engage many techniques in order to obtain the answers they want. It is important to know that the police are permitted to lie in an interview/interrogation. The only time to ever provide a statement is after you have discussed the matter with a lawyer.
Preliminary Hearings and Trials
If negotiation does not result in a resolution that makes sense to you we are prepared to proceed to trial on your matter. With over 25 years of trial experience we work with you so that so are prepared for your trial and so that we can present your case to the court in the most effective manner.
